$25M Boca Mansion Is a Trigger Warning We Didn't Know Existed. We're in Love.

This may look like an average Florida mansion. However, the interior tells a very different story.

If you are looking for a sprawling estate with thematic bedrooms, three pools (one of which is shaped like a fish), a handcrafted wooden dragon slide, a Viking ship dining table, and every nook and cranny filled with stained glass, colorful tiles or murals, then this is the home for you!

The designer and architect behind the work of art at 1201 Marble Way in Boca Raton deserve the Pritzker Architecture Prize, AKA "architecture's Nobel."

The 12,709-square-foot, eye-catching mansion, which features 12 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, is now on sale for a chill $25 million. However, the custom-built waterfront home designed for investor Thomas Shrager and his wife Virginia, whose Connecticut mansion is uninhabitable after going up in flames in a turkey-frying accident, may not be for everyone. Let's just say there is a whole lotta stuff.

The mansion's exterior might resemble your classic South Florida estate, but the interior tells a completely different story. You are transported into an under-the-sea kingdom with dragons, fish, frogs, and mermaids — just to name a few, because the list is endless.

A French painter completed the tiled mosaic floors, murals, and painted ceilings. There are two staircases (because why not?) — one that seems to resemble climbing a tree and a standard marble and tile staircase. If you don't feel like slumming it on the stairs back down to the first level, that is not a problem thanks to the hand-crafted dragon slide that takes you from the second floor to the foyer.

The kitchen, a turquoise lover's dream honoring the "Elements of Air," houses the "Norse carved table with Helga and Magnus dragons protecting," according to the home's exceedingly detailed Zillow description. Naturally, the dining room off the kitchen is fire-themed, adorned with a dragon chandelier and fire sconces.

And with themed rooms ranging from peacocks, Betty Boop, and Kwan Yin (a Buddhist bodhisattva and goddess of passion) to sunflowers, mermaids, the Amalfi Coast, and steampunk, there is sure to be a space for everyone. In the true spirit of investigative journalism, themed rooms also include hearts and roses, the gods, dogs, German, dancers, cats, birds, horses, pagoda, sunflowers, "old lady pinks," palm trees, sakura, swans, roses, and frogs.

Let's not forget a pottery and kiln studio to make more decorations for the home, a crystal bed in the health room, and a button that causes a Harry Potter-inspired ladder to descend. (So you can climb to the attic, duh!)

Of course, there is an observation deck to look at the stunning views of the Intercostal Waterway. Speaking of water, we'd be remiss not to mention the fish-shaped pool, the swim-against machine pool, which, according to Google, generates a current to swim against, and a pedicure fish pool.

Joyce Marie Schneider of Castles by the Beach Realty has the honor and privilege of selling this Boca Raton hidden gem.
