Miami's area code, 305, takes center stage each year on March 5 (3/05) for the city's unofficial holiday celebrating all things Magic City.

This Wednesday, March 5, restaurants and bars across Miami will honor the 305 with special menus and events that pay tribute to the city's distinctive food culture — and the specials are more epic and more "Miami" than ever before.

Night Owl Cookies x Dos Croquetas x Vicky Bakery Collab

Night Owl Cookies will bring three other Miami food stars together for a $25 dessert box available at all South Florida locations starting at 11 a.m. on March 5. The sweet-tooth staple includes a white chocolate chip cookie stuffed with Vicky Bakery's guava y queso pastelito, a milk chocolate creation filled with cafecito-infused dulce de leche from Only in Dade, and a savory-sweet concoction featuring a chocolate-coated ham croqueta from Dos Croquetas. Night Owl rounds out the box with its take on Rolled's sticky bun, topped with cream cheese glaze and guava drizzle.

Versailles Collaborates with Coyo Taco for Delicious 305 Collab

On March 5, Coyo Taco will partner with legendary Cuban spot Versailles for a Cuban-Mexican mashup at all Coyo locations and at Versailles Cuban Restaurant. Diners can grab a lechon taco ($9) featuring Versailles' signature mojo-marinated pork with avocado and salsa verde. For bigger appetites, the vaca frita bowl ($16) packs in crispy shredded flank steak with all the fixings. Coyos "not-so-secret" menu adds a vaca frita taco ($11) with a crispy cheese crust and dipping broth. The collab continues with guacamole served with green plantain chips and Versailles' homemade mojo crudo ($10). Coyo Taco Wynwood will pour free cafecito from noon to 5 p.m., while Versailles on Calle Ocho will have a tent with a DJ from 6 to 9 p.m.

Eating House's Miami Menu Inspired by Keg South and Canton

Eating House joins the 305 party with a "Tasting Miami 305" seven-dish sharing menu priced at $55 per person. The restaurant's tribute includes dishes inspired by iconic Miami spots — kung pao tuna tartare reminiscent of Canton, a special pizza inspired by Frankie's with garlic roll butter, and a dish that pays homage to Keg South's famous wings. Though sold out for March 5, the restaurant opened reservations for March 6 too.

Michael's Genuine x Panther Coffee 305 Day Collab

Michael’s Genuine is bringing its signature coffee experience to the next level with the official launch of the Genuine Roast for purchase. Since 2016, the Design District staple has partnered with Miami’s own Panther Coffee to craft a custom roast. Starting March 5th, guests can take home the Genuine Roast, while also enjoying specialty menu items like the Horchata Carajillo, Horchata Iced Coffee, and an indulgent Opera Cake by pastry chef Marlena Bella. To celebrate, Panther Coffee will host a complimentary tasting in Michael’s Genuine’s outdoor courtyard from 11:30 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., featuring Genuine Roast drip coffee and a mini Horchata Carajillo.

Tiki Takeover on Calle Ocho

Casa Tiki on Calle Ocho transforms into a Miami-inspired party when the Dead Flamingo pop-up takes over on March 5. The night promises tequila and rum giveaways, plus 305-inspired cocktails from Casa Tiki's mixologists. Miami nightlife fans know the Dead Flamingo for its tropical drinks and rowdy energy, with DJs spinning everything from Miami freestyle to reggaeton and Latin house. Got a 305 tattoo? Flash it for Happy Hour prices all night long.

Biscayne Bay Brewing Hosts Comedy Night on 305 Day

Biscayne Bay Brewing in downtown Miami will combine laughs and lagers with a 305 Day Comedy Night on Wednesday, March 5, at 9 p.m. The brewery will transform into a comedy club featuring Paula Barros, Carlos Hernandez, and Kyle Grooms, delivering Miami-centric humor. Early birds can hit the brewery's Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. for $4 beers, $8 wines, and $10 cocktails. The kitchen serves Miami-inspired bites like smoked fish dip, house wagyu chili dogs, and tequeños. The brewery partnered with Vacation Brand to gift attendees sun-care products because nothing says Miami like craft beer and sunscreen.

305 Day Block Party in Wynwood

For those who want to keep the party going, the 12th annual 305 Day Block Party happens not on March 5 but on Saturday, March 8, at Wynwood Marketplace (2250 NW Second Ave.). The free event features local vendors, live music, and food and runs from 3:05 to 10 p.m.
