Less than a year after debuting in Little River, cozy and chic wine spot Magie Wine Bar is ready to raise a glass to a new chapter with a new Coconut Grove location. Grove residents have reached out to New Times after word on the street spread on Thursday, February 20, that Magie would open a new location by Sereia along Main Highway in 2025. The new location will surely be a charming new addition to the picturesque neighborhood.

For those unfamiliar with the wine bar's original Little River location, Magie is a wine and snack bar that has become a beloved gathering place for those seeking a relaxed atmosphere paired with exceptional wine and great bites. Owner Caroline Strauss, a veteran in the Miami restaurant scene, created the space in 2024 as a casual yet elevated experience — a far cry from the city’s typical club-centric spots.

The Coconut Grove location should stay true to its roots, offering the same no-fuss vibe that made the original a success. However, official details about the restaurant or its potential menu have yet to be disclosed.
