After 11 Years, E11even Is Only Getting Started

Since opening in 2014, E11even has become more than just a venue — it's an ever-growing brand.

Are you even a true Miamian if you haven't shaken your ass at E11even beyond the break of dawn while you watch dancers, well, shake their asses — and everything else — right along with you?

If you have never had the opportunity to experience that firsthand, the good news is that this week, you can correct that oversight at any time of day as E11even celebrates its 11th anniversary.

To mark the milestone, Fat Joe and Scott Storch performed a private show for VIPs on Tuesday night. The public can get in on the action, too, with events this week including Vice and Eric Dlux (January 30), Marshmello (January 31), Saweetie (February 1), and Lunay (February 2).

"I'm a dreamer, but this has all far surpassed anything we initially thought of," says Gino LoPinto, operating partner of E11even. "It warms my heart to think of all the good memories here, the people that have met here, and everything in between."

In 2013, LoPinto took a leap of faith, moving his family from Las Vegas to partner with 11 USA Group creator and owner Dennis DeGori. His life and the brand haven't been the same since. Over the years, the club has hosted some of the biggest performers, including Drake, Usher, the Chainsmokers, and Nicki Minaj. Most recently, the venue even hosted a championship boxing match.

Amid the headliners, there are some quieter moments that LoPinto holds dear.

"The E11even hat has become so synonymous and iconic. It's at the forefront of the brand."

"Some of the bigger moments were at the time they happened, like when we launched the E11even hat, which has become so synonymous and iconic. It's at the forefront of the brand," he tells New Times. "Another was when we had the groundbreaking for the E11even towers here."

LoPinto says that hat sales alone have surpassed $1 million annually for three years in a row. The E11even Club Hotel and Residences, which includes a 65-story condo tower, broke ground in June 2023. Upon completion, it will include a Japanese steakhouse from Riviera Dining Group, the creators of South Beach hot spot Mila and Claudie in Brickell, a Deepak Chopra spa, and a pool club.

Looking ahead, LoPinto says other markets, such as Las Vegas, London, New York, and Tokyo, are prime for similar tower projects as well as club and pool clubs. He adds, "Whereas a lot of respected hospitality groups focus on growing multiple brands, we are fully focused fully on growing the E11even brand."

On that note, E11even Vodka, launched in 2020, is now available in three states and Canada. The brand just hosted its first golf tournament, the E11even Golf Classic, during Miami Art Week and will soon launch a coffee table book.

Still, amid it all, the ultra-club at 29 NE 11th St. remains vital to the brand. LoPinto says the venue's 24/7 schedule will return soon, and the brand is exploring hosting events from 7 to 9 p.m. for the early birds.

"We're entering our 12th year here, and I've personally been in the game for 30-plus years," he says. "A two- to four-year run is usually the max, and we're so grateful. We'll continue to evolve and grow here."
