Singer Halsey has announced she'll be hitting the road for her Halsey: For My Last Trick Tour. The tour kicks off on May 10 in Concord, California, with it landing at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood on Sunday, May 25.
In October, Halsey released her fifth album, The Great Impersonator, which seemed to divide critics and, to a lesser extent, fans. A concept album of sorts, The Great Impersonator sees the singer channel pop icons across 18 tracks, including Britney Spears, Dolly Parton, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, and Björk. It also explores themes of life and death, with the record coming after Halsey's diagnosis of lupus and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
Halsey has also been recently in the headlines for coming to Chappell Roan's defense after Roan's Grammy speech about record labels needing to pay artists a livable wage sparked debate. In an op-ed for the Hollywood Reporter, former music industry executive Jeff Rabhan called Roan's speech "misguided," adding that she "wants to turn labels into landlords, bosses and insurance providers." Unfortunately, instead of engaging in good faith criticism, Rabhan came off as condescending, asserting that Roan hadn't been in the industry long enough to know what she was talking about. (Not true; Roan has been making music for nearly a decade now.) Halsey chimed in the debate on Instagram, stating, "If you want to profit off of someone else's art, that artist should have the basic living means to feel safe enough to create that art."
Tickets for Halsey's 2025 tour go on sale Friday, February 21, at 10 a.m. Fans can sign up for the artist presale through Monday, February 17, at 11:59 p.m. at livemu.sc/halsey, with the presale starting on Wednesday, February 19, at 10 a.m.
