French cuisine enthusiasts can now enjoy La Grande Boucherie in South Beach, a grand and opulent brasserie from New York, while those craving Mediterranean flavors will find a taste of Greece at Mykonos in Fort Lauderdale. Meanwhile, La Cañita serves up bold Latin-Caribbean flavors, making it a must-visit for those who appreciate Miami-inspired cuisine.
But February wasn't just full of flashy new spots — great, low-key restaurants opened, as well, including family-owned spot the Grape Ape in South Miami, owned by a team of brothers, and La Sandwicherie in Sunny Isles Beach. Without further ado, here is every restaurant and bar that opened in February 2025. P.S.: Check out the full list of restaurants opening in 2025 by scrolling all the way down (we're so excited).

Closings
Palmar: After eight years of highs and lows, Palmar, a once-celebrated Chinese restaurant, has closed its doors for good. The closure occurred on Sunday, February 9, at Julia & Henry's, a downtown Miami food hall on Flagler Street. In a candid Instagram post, its founder reflected on the difficult journey, acknowledging that while external factors played a role, he ultimately took responsibility for the restaurant's downfall. Despite the closure, he expressed gratitude to the people who supported Palmar and helped create its best moments.Coming Soon
