The wait is finally over: La Sandwicherie, the iconic Miami sandwich shop known for its fresh, French-style creations, has opened its new location in Sunny Isles Beach.

After months of anticipation, the beloved eatery is slinging its signature subs at 17008 Collins Ave., in the center of Sunny Isles Beach at RK Village Plaza, bringing its legendary sandwiches to a whole new neighborhood. Featured in New Times' 2024 Required Eating and recognized as the Best Late-Night Dining in 2023, the brand has long been a favorite of South Floridians.

Founded over 35 years ago in 1988, the legendary French-owned Miami staple started serving its iconic sandwiches at its original location at 14th Street between Washington and Collins Avenues in South Beach. Owners Elise and Franz Leforestier soon created La Sandwicherie Group to take the famed sandwiches to other neighborhoods.

Over the years, the brand has expanded into Wynwood, North Beach, and even delivery-only spots in Fort Lauderdale and downtown Miami. Now, with the Sunny Isles location, the sandwich shop is bringing its signature creations to an area that’s been eagerly awaiting its arrival.

Fans of La Sandwicherie’s Brickell location, which closed in 2024, are still awaiting its anticipated relaunch at 60 SW Tenth St., facing Mary Brickell Village. The shop is expected to open by the second quarter of 2025, and once it does, it will bring the beloved sandwiches back to one of Miami’s busiest neighborhoods.
