Update: A second show for the Weekend's After Hours til Dawn Stadium Tour at Hard Rock Stadium has been added on Saturday, August 16.
On the heels of the release of his sixth album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, the Weeknd has announced he will embark on the After Hours til Dawn Stadium Tour starting in May. The tour will stop at Hard Rock Stadium on August 15 and 16.
The tour is a continuation of sorts of the After Hours Tour, which kicked off in 2022 and stopped at Hard Rock Stadium on August 6, 2022. However, this tour will feature an all-new stage production and a set list with tracks from 2020's After Hours, 2022's Dawn FM, and the recently released Hurry Up Tomorrow, as well as his music catalogue. If you are unaware, Hurry Up Tomorrow completes the trilogy that started with After Hours.
Accompanying the Weeknd on tour will be rapper Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean.
Regarding Hurry Up Tomorrow, critics and fans are still digesting the new music, but early consensus seems to be positive. In a five-star review for the Independent, Roisin O'Connor writes, "It would be easy to dismiss this album as indulgent — particularly after Tesfaye gave everyone the collective ick in HBO's ludicrous misfire of a series The Idol — but Hurry Up Tomorrow is impressive for its ambition alone."
Expect tickets for the 2025 stadium tour to be in high demand, so if you want to have a shot, sign up for the presale via Ticketmaster. You have until Tuesday, February 4, at 9 a.m. ET to do so. The presale will run from Wednesday, February 5, at 10 a.m. until Thursday, February 6, at 10 a.m. The general sale begins Friday, February 7, at 10 a.m.
