Wanna get paid to get high?

The cannabis company Toker's Guide is looking to hire a professional cannabis reviewer in Miami to sample, analyze, and rate weed products with the precision of a weed sommelier (or, let's be real, a seasoned stoner).

According to a job listing on Indeed, the position offers flexible scheduling — whether full-time, part-time, or contract — and comes with roughly 20 to 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday. To qualify, applicants must be 21 or older, hold a Florida medical cannabis card, and live in South Florida.

"We are looking for cannabis connoisseurs who think they have what it takes to join our ranks as a reviewer of Florida marijuana dispensary products," the listing reads.

As for the pay, Toker's Guide founder Matt Green tells New Times it's "commensurate with experience." (See "seasoned stoner" above.)

Green says Toker's Guide is expanding into Florida and planning for "big growth" in the South Florida, Tampa, and Jacksonville markets in the new year.

"Accordingly, we're looking for awesome reviewers and photographers to join our ranks to help with the expansion," he says.

According to the listing, the company seeks applicants with a "vast knowledge of cannabis in various forms," "experience with photography and lighting," as well as an employee who is "trustworthy," "punctual and deadline-oriented" (hmmm), and above all, "kind!"

The role is advertised as "mostly remote" but does require the ability to travel throughout the Miami metro area to pick up or receive deliveries.

According to its website, Toker's Guide helps cannabis aficionados across the nation find the best marijuana products. "We continuously check out dispensaries in each area and report the top flower, edibles, concentrates, and more that we find each week," the site states.

Florida voters recently rejected statewide Amendment 3, which aimed to legalize recreational marijuana for adults 21 and older.

That said, medical marijuana remains legal for Florida residents with approved medical conditions who possess an official Florida Medical Marijuana Use Registry (MMUR) ID card.
